Sage grouse tours starting late March

Colorado Parks and Wildlife, along with Conservation Colorado, is putting on public, guided tours in northwest Colorado to watch the greater-sage grouse in the area perform their mating ritual.

The tours from March 28-April 7 will offer a unique wildlife experience in Colorado as the sage grouse return to their mating grounds (leks) to dance and compete for mates. The display is a must-see for birdwatchers, CPW officials said, but will also be interesting for a casual wildlife fan.

The tours require a reservation. To learn more about the tours or make a reservation, visit Conservation Colorado onlineConservation Colorado online..Conservation Colorado online.
